And now there is one less Democrat running for president. Former two-term Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper has ended his campaign for president.
Hickenlooper released a video Thursday in which he announced he was no longer seeking the higher office in the land.
In his announcement video, Hickenlooper highlighted all of the things he was able to accomplish as the governor of Colorado. He then segue ways into discussing the United States Senate and how he will give a run at that legislative body some serious thought.
This morning, I’m announcing that I’m no longer running for President. While this campaign didn’t have the outcome we were hoping for, every moment has been worthwhile & I’m thankful to everyone who supported this campaign and our entire team.https://t.co/1ijSjkbzzd

Hickenlooper truly never had a chance. His name recognition was bad, his fundraising was anemic and his poll numbers were even worse. Also, he was far, far too conservative for today’s Democratic Party.
