It’s not often that we hear about women being accused of sexual assault – a few cases come to mind since the #MeToo era started bringing old accusations to light. Mariah Carey being one of them, but no one seemed to really care about that.
Now, American Idol judge and pop superstar Katy Perry has found herself on the receiving end of an accusation by one of the models featured in her “Teenage Dream” music video.
Josh Kloss posted on his Instagram account that at a party shortly after Perry’s divorce from Russel Brand, she “pulled my Adidas sweats and underwear out as far as she could to show a couple of her guy friends and the crowd around us, my penis. ”
“Can you imagine how pathetic and embarrassed I felt? I just say this now because our culture is set on proving men of power are perverse. But females with power are just as disgusting,” he wrote.
Perry hasn’t commented but found herself involved in criticism the first season of American Idol when she planted a kiss on a contestant who had never kissed a woman before.
“I wanted to save (my first kiss) for my first relationship,” he said. “I wanted it to be special,” said Benjamin Glaze, who said the encounter made him uncomfortable.
Kloss also posted correspondence from Perry’s team, saying they asked him to keep quiet to protect Perry’s image.
“I was supposed to minimize myself and stay PC to protect her “image” I listened and was a good boy. The fear sticks with you, when you are censored to protect someone else’s image. ”
So she has managed to sexually assault TWO men, and yet nothing has happened to her…or her career.
