The Washington Post is not, by any stretch of the imagination, a conservative publication.
They routinely bash President Trump, Republicans and really any idea associated with the Republican Party. Jennifer Rubin is their conservative opinion blogger and most of the time she’s not even all that conservative.
But now Bernie Sanders is taking aim at the publication. Sanders, while out on the campaign trail, said that the newspaper doesn’t particularly care for him because of his insistence on high taxation, going after businesses and his dislike of Amazon because they make a profit.
Senator Bernie Sanders: "Amazon made $10 billion dollars in profit last year. You know how much they paid in taxes? You got it, zero. And we wonder why the Washington Post is not one of my great supporters, I wonder why." https://t.co/GToXevkWSt pic.twitter.com/yWgGLdtSZZ

Of course, Jeff Bezos, the richest man in the world owns both Amazon and the Washington Post.
Isn’t attacking the press something Democrats claimed was against everything our country stood for and that President Trump should be banished for doing so?
