El Paso is still reeling for this past weekend’s fatal shooting in which 22 people have lost their lives. Following that horrific incident, Morning Joe said that anyone who donates to President Trump’s re-election effort is a white supremacist by default. This evil and disgusting line of thinking seems to be what motivated one sitting congressman.
Democratic Joaquin Castor, whose district includes a big portion of San Antonio, released the names and employers of people who donated to the president in his own district.
Sad to see so many San Antonians as 2019 maximum donors to Donald Trump — the owner of @BillMillerBarBQ, owner of the @HistoricPearl, realtor Phyllis Browning, etc.
Their contributions are fueling a campaign of hate that labels Hispanic immigrants as ‘invaders.’ pic.twitter.com/YT85IBF19u

This move is unconscionable. To think a sitting congressman is attempting to publicly shame his own constituents simply for having a different opinion from him.
Thankfully, Castro received severe blowback for his disgusting and deeply partisan tweet.
I am sure Castro is proud of this. He wants to shut down anyone who holds a different political opinion than the party approved opinion.
This is fascism. This is reality. This is the modern left.
Disgraceful.

This is exactly why I've moved away from disclosure of donors and all campaign finance reform/limits. This doxxing of donors and their companies is used for one thing. To get them hurt.

You’re vile. What’s your goal with this list? Be explicit about just how vile you are. Do you want your comrades to damage these people monetarily so they can’t feed their kids? Physically damage their homes or businesses? Follow & harass them? Physically assault them? Shameful.

Example of why no one should ever vote for this evil man’s brother. If you were to stand against his lies, he will DOX you!

Embarrassing. Attacking private citizens.

Doxxing voters for not agreeing with you politically is a perfectly sane and reasonable thing to do…
This same guy runs around claiming that the Right are the ones putting people in danger and fueling hatred…
