CNN held their second debate Wednesday evening and right from the get go it was apparent that Jake Tapper, Dana Bash and Don Lemon were looking for more fireworks between Harris and Biden.
While that did happen on several occasions throughout the night as both went back and forth on immigration, health care and climate change, it was Tuli Gabbard who served up the biggest take down of the night.
About halfway through the debate, criminal justice reform was the topic and Gabbard took Harris to task for her task as California’s attorney general.
Gabbard rattles off a laundry list of areas where Harris’ record and her rhetoric don’t exactly match up. Harris offered up a rebuttal but it was obvious that Gabbard won that exchange.
Tulsi Gabbard on Kamala Harris: "She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the state of CA." #DemDebate2 https://t.co/2T03bSRdAc pic.twitter.com/A2eOlB9WMt
