Religion has absolutely no place in government. They should be kept totally separate. That’s exactly what Democrats tell us.
Of course, when it comes to pushing progressive policies and not protecting the life of children, invoking religion is perfectly acceptable to the left.
During Tuesday evening’s second Democratic debate, South Bend, Indiana mayor, Pete Buttigieg, as he has on several occasions, recited Scripture to support his progressive outlook.
This time is was to support raising the minimum. Essentially, Buttigieg accuses those of not wanting to raise the minimum wage to a rate he feels his acceptable, you’re simply oppressing the poor.

I wonder at what point are Christians not keeping the poor in poverty? Is it 15 an hour? Is it $20 an hour? Maybe it’s $500 an hour?
