Democrats are now having second thoughts on forcing former Minnesota Sen. Al Franken to resign.
Franken was accused of sexual misconduct by a number of women, including Leaan Tweeden of which there was a photo of the former SNL writer assaulting her as she slept.
The allegations against Franken came during the height of the #MeToo movement but unlike a lot of those cases, there was actual photographic evidence of Franken acting, well, pretty inappropriately.
But much like a lot of things, while others should believe all women, that’s apparently another rule the left can completely and totally disregard.
#LeeAnnTweeden, #AlFrankens accuser, in all her right wing glory. Al was forced to resign, without anything resembling due process, amid HER allegations that something “untoward” happened between them. Read about it in @thenewyorker.https://t.co/FFH2VwfseG

Actress Bette Midler felt it was appropriate to post the above message and complain that Franken wasn’t given due process. It’s probably the first time a leftist has cared about that particular legal procedure.
Well, comedian Norm Macdonald responded to the Midler and well, completely destroys her argument in the process.
