There are still more than 20 Democrats running for president. One of those candidates is self-help author Marianne Williamson.
With a group of candidates that have consistently proposed some of the most far left policies, Williamson comes very close to being the farthest left of all the candidate, but Warren and Sanders will always edge her out in that department.
But nevertheless, Williamson, who spouts ideas that sounds as if they belong to someone who just stepped out of a smoke-filled VW bus in the 1960s, now wants a Department of Peace.
Why? Because, according to Williamson, who appeared on the “Late Show” with Stephen Colbert, says war is the absence of peace and peace is the absence of war.
And it would just be so groovy if people could love one another!
