On Wednesday night in North Carolina, President Donald Trump held a rally. While speaking to supporters, Trump went after the members of “the Squad.”
When it came to Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar, the crowd began chanting “send her back.”
It wasn’t a great moment. Whether you agree with her politics or not, the woman is an American citizen.
Many on the left and the right weren’t thrilled with that particular moment and on Thursday afternoon, President Trump said he didn’t appreciate and didn’t like the chant.
Well, as politicians usually do, Bernie Sanders is using the instance as a way to help himself.
I was at dinner with Rep. Omar when we heard that people at Trump’s rally were chanting “send her back.”
Ilhan is a leader with courage. She won’t back down, and neither will we.

Only a politician could use something said or done toward another elected official to financially enrich themselves.
