Ana Navaro claims to be a conservative commentator on CNN. That’s pretty laughable, especially with the crazy things she’s said since President Trump got elected. Now, one does not HAVE to agree with the President on everything to still be considered a conservative – there are PLENTY of times he’s deserved to be criticized for things he’s tweeted or said since getting elected.
And in the aftermath of the weekend tweet storm that started a feud with AOC and friends, Navaro decided that Melania Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz should maybe be sent back to the countries they came from.
“And if we’re gonna start sending people back, I don’t know — ya know, listen, Ted Cruz was born in Canada, Marco Rubio’s parents were born in Cuba, Melania Trump was born where? Slovenia. How about her parents how are here through family immigration,” she said.

“As a woman of color yourself, do you believe Donald Trump wants you in this country?” asked Ana Cabrera.
“I really couldn’t care less what Donald Trump wants,” Navarro answered. “I don’t care if he wants me in this country or not because this is my country. He doesn’t get to decide that. I am a naturalized citizen.”
The President’s comments weren’t great; he’s not especially known for being the most eloquent speaker or tweeter. Were they racist? It sounded bad, but only he truly knows his intent.
However, Navarro’s take on this is equally stupid. Melania, Rubio and Cruz really have nothing to do with this since the gist of the whole debacle is Trump believes “The Squad” or whatever they’re calling themselves hate America.
