There’s still several months until Democrats cast their votes in the primary. A lot of things can change between now and January 2020 when Iowans caucus that’s a given.
But polls, while they take the temperature of electorate of a particular moment in time, are still a useful tool for what’s working, what’s not, who’s catching on with voters and who should just go home.
While Iowa is a particularly important battleground when selecting a Democrat or Republican nominee, New Hampshire, being the first primary in the nation, is also extremely important and should not be overlooked.
Well, this latest poll out of the “Live Free or Die State” provides us with some extremely interesting numbers.
Easily, the most shocking finding is that failed senatorial candidate and the at-one-time media darling Beto O’Rourke is pulling down a whopping 0%. It’s gotten so bad for the former Texas congressman that even hippie and feel-good author Marianne Williamson has overtaken him with 1.5%.
Rounding out this particular poll… Per @SaintAnselmPoll 11.1% of voters are undecided. Polling conducted July 10-12. 351 NH registered voters interviewed. MOE 5.2%. Candidates not pictured in this thread were not polled. #FITN #nhpolitics pic.twitter.com/PvMPCKlWYB

Another interesting discovery? Socialist and senator from next door Vermont has fallen out of the top tier of candidates. It appears, at least for now, that Elizabeth Warren is the choice for the far left and socialist Democrats.
Is the top of the Democrat being to crystalize? Will Beto finally drop out? Again, it’s probably too early to tell but this poll just further enhances the importance of the second Democrat debate coming up on July 30 and 31.
