Michigan Congressman Justin Amash continues to make headlines in Washington. Several weeks ago, he was the first and only Republican to call for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
Next, after calling for Trump’s impeachment, Amash announced that he was leaving the Republican Party. There’s also been rumors of Amash running for president on the Libertarian ticket.
Now, Amash went on CNN to talk about Trump and the Mueller report. Amash said he believes that only a few of his Republican colleagues have actually read the report and then went on to say that Trump would’ve been indicted if he wasn’t the President of the United States.
Rep. Justin Amash: "When you look at the conduct in [the Mueller Report], when you look at the evidence as presented, I think basically anyone would be indicted for that conduct, anyone who was not the President of the United States." pic.twitter.com/y71aUw6WI3
