The Democrats took the debate stage once again in Florida Thursday night. One could make the argument that Thursday was the A-team debate, featuring the likes of Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg.
But despite all of the attention those four garner, there were six other candidates on stage. No, they didn’t get much time at all to speak, Marriane Williamson didn’t even say a word until a half hour into the entire thing but once she did speak, most likely wished she hadn’t.
One of those people who didn’t get a whole lot of time to voice his opinion was former tech entreprenuer, Andrew Yang.
And there may be a reason for that. Yang, while speaking to supporters after Thursday night’s debate, claims that NBC shut his mic off during the debate.
Sounds like NBC decided to go beyond just asking @AndrewYang fewer questions than the rest of the #DemDebate2 field to actively muting his mic to prevent him from being heard. I'd like to hear if any other candidates experienced this… not you Gillibrand.pic.twitter.com/ByfcahrTPO
