The Democrats are coming for former Vice President Joe Biden. It makes sense, he’s the front runner at this point.
How do the Dems plan on taking Biden down? Well, it appears they are trying to paint him as a segregationist senator-loving, anti-busing racist.
In Thursday night’s most contentious moment, Sen. Kamala Harris brought up Biden’s recent remarks about working with two segregationist Democratic senators and then accused him of not supporting busing.
Again, in Harris is trying to paint Biden, who was vice president for our country’s first African American president, as a racist.
Biden responded to Harris’ allegation Friday in Chicago, pointing back to a number of his votes on civil rights, his love and admiration for Dr. King and his work as a public defender.
Joe Biden responds to Sen. Kamala Harris after she confronted him about efforts to block busing: “I respect Senator Harris. We all know that 30 seconds to 60 seconds on a campaign debate exchange can't do justice to a lifetime commitment to civil rights.” https://t.co/cChRc2G6qx pic.twitter.com/bm0qFOHdGv
