Former Vice President Joe Biden was supposedly the moderate Democrat running for president, having the ability to appeal to both Democrats and Republicans.
However, much like “moderate Pete Buttigieg, that label may not accurately describe him.
On Thursday evening, after getting hit hard by the Democrats running for president, Biden says that he “can no longer” support the Hyde Amendment.
BREAKING: @JoeBiden just announced that in the current environment where women’s rights are under such attack nationwide, he can no longer support the Hyde Amendment #RepealHyde #gapol #iwillvotegala pic.twitter.com/ITFkeRbYra

Women’s rights and health care are under assault in a way that seeks to roll back every step of progress we’ve made over the last 50 years. If I believe health care is a right, as I do, I can no longer support an amendment that makes that right dependent on someone’s zip code.

Biden’s about face on the amendment that bans federal tax money from being used on abortions comes just 24 hours after his campaign confirmed that yes, he did in fact support it.
The Democratic Party continues to move to the left and have now forced Biden to do so as well.
