There’s a whole lot of stupid that comes out of Hollywood, but this might be one of the dumbest things in quite some time.
Actors Rooney Mara and Joaquin Phoenix, among others, participated in a “death march” through the streets of Los Angeles, holding dead animals to “honor the billions of animals killed each year by human hands on factory farms, in research laboratories, in the fur and cosmetics industries and by hunters.”

Following the march, they held a public memorial service for the animals and encouraged a “cruelty-free, plant-based lifestyle.”
So let me get this straight – these same people are advocating for unrestricted abortion, yet think animals deserve rights that are “established and protected by law”? How is it that unborn humans don’t qualify for rights but a chicken or cow does??
Our culture is messed up. When we value a soulless creatures over living, developing humans with heartbeats and human DNA, you know there’s real problem in our society.
The sign behind them reads, “This is how we, the human race, treat animals. Do you want to be a part of this?”

Maybe someone would like to show them a photo of an aborted baby and ask the question “This is how we, the human race, treat babies. Do you want to be a part of this?”
