In case you haven’t heard, President Trump and the Democrats in Congress aren’t getting along real well right about now.
Several Democrats have been pushing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to begin impeachment proceedings but the California Democrat has been more than a little reluctant.
Apparently, on Wednesday, during a meeting on infrastructure between Trump, Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer this got a little heated. Trump apparently left the meeting saying that he was refusing to work with Democrats until the investigations were over. He then gave a press conference in the Rose Garden after abruptly leaving the meeting, saying that he won’t work with people who accuse him of cover ups.

On Thursday, Pelosi then fired back at the President in which she said she hopes someone, his family or staff can mount some kind of intervention for the good of the country.
Nancy Pelosi: "I pray for the President of the United States. I wish that his family or his administration or his staff would have an intervention for the good of the country."

Well, of course that wasn’t the end of it as Kellyanne Conway went on Fox News and said that Pelosi looks down upon her and other women, including members of her staff, treating them like hired help.
.@KellyannePolls says @SpeakerPelosi looks down on her and many other women as lesser-than.

Needless to say, things in Washington aren’t real great.
