This morning, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi accused the President of being involved in a cover-up.
After leaving a meeting of the House Democratic caucus, Pelosi said, “We do believe that it’s important to follow the facts. We believe that no one is above the law, including the president of the United States. And we believe the president of the United States is engaged in a cover up.”

The comments were made right before a meeting was to take place with President Trump, who wasn’t thrilled with accusation.
The President says he was planning “to do a meeting with Democrats on infrastructure” when found out about the “cover-up” comment and said, “Instead of walking in happily into a meeting, I walk in to look at people that had just said that I’m doing a cover-up.”
Trump pushed back on that saying, “I don’t do cover ups” and that his administration had been transparent.
