On July 20, 1969, the United States landed on the moon. This summer marks the 50th anniversary of that amazing feat and according to Delish, Nabisco will celebrate with a special version of their popular Oreo cookies.
Reportedly, the cookies will be filled with light purple marshmallow creme, feature a moon design stamped on the cookie part and the packaging will glow in the dark. Candy Hunting posted a sneak on their Instagram.

New Marshmallow Moon Oreos will be out soon! The cream appears to be a light shade of purple and marshmallow flavored (though, the flavor sourcing declaration is supposed to go after/below the stated flavor, not above, on the front of pack). The pack uses phosphorescent (glow in the dark) ink and has stickers on the back. If you're wondering why the name Marshmallow Moon sounds familiar, it's because Ben & Jerry's released a Special Stash flavor by that name in 2017.
