There are currently 23 Democrats running for President of the United States.
Instead of saving the best for last, the inverse may be true as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio announced his campaign for the White House Thursday.
New Yorkers seem to be universally opposed to the idea of their mayor running the country. Several New York City residents showed up to voice their displeasure with his run for president right outside ABC’s studios where he made his announcement.
Protesters chanted, "Bad for the city, bad for the country!" and "Liar! Liar!" as New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio arrived at "Good Morning America" to announce his 2020 run pic.twitter.com/bsLiOK4ApD

MSNBC did a piece about the NYC mayor announcing his run where they talked to average New Yorkers on walking on the streets and the reception was universally negative.
New Yorkers react to the entrance of Bill de Blasio in the 2020 race:
New Yorker: "He should’ve announced April 1."
Reporter: "Why?"
New Yorker: "It would’ve been a good April fools joke."

You know things are bad when not even MSNBC can find someone to say something positive about a Democrat.
