The expensive, massive government power grab that is the Green New Deal is not dead. Freshman Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will not let it die.
On Monday evening, Ocasio-Cortez spoke in front of a group of college students at Howard University about climate change and the absolute need for her disastrous bill.
She was in her element as she was preaching about the need for immediate action to the threat of climate change.
And while she was hardly bipartisan in her talk, the democratic-socialist put blame on politicians on both sides of the aisle.
“Because I’ve been in that chamber, I’ve been told by people on both sides of the aisle that we need to frack more that we need to build more pipelines both sides of the aisle.”
However, Ocasio-Cortez says she is simply refusing to back down from finding a solution to climate change, saying that she is not going to let the same politicians keeping screwing up our environment.
Rep. @AOC: "I will be damned if the same politicians who refuse to act then are going to try to come back today and say we need a 'middle of the road approach' to save our lives. That is too much for me." https://t.co/sdrTlLfvWU pic.twitter.com/oWDw440nkA
