New poll shows Buttigieg comes in third in home state of Indiana

Is Mayor Pete’s popularity waning already? If a new poll by We Ask America is any indication, it looks like that may very well be the case, especially in his home state of Indiana.

They surveyed registered Indiana voters, asking them about who they favor in the Democratic primary, how they feel the state and country are faring and their thoughts on how good of a job the elected officials are doing.

And according to the results, Buttigieg comes in third behind former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. Biden has a ten point lead over the South Bend mayor and surprisingly, Bernie Sanders comes in first, with a thirteen point lead over Buttigieg.

None of the other Democrats running even came close to those three. The poll was conducted online and 800 people responded between April 29th and May 5th.
