Netflix series ‘Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt’ getting ‘interactive’ special

After being held captive in an underground bomb shelter for years in rural Indiana, Kimmy Schmidt is finally out and she’s ready to tackle the world. So, what better place for her to begin than New York City. That’s the basic premise for the “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.”

However, despite her naive, trusting nature, she is, for lack of a better word, an idiot. Throughout the Netflix program’s four-year run, Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) finds herself in some pretty insane predicaments but with the help of her eclectic group of misfit friends and her can-do attitude, things always seem to work for for Ms. Schmidt.

Early this year, as the program’s final season hit Netflix, fans were led to believe this would be it for Kimmy, Titus and Lillian. But that doesn’t appear to be the case.

On Thursday, it was announced that program is getting an “interactive” special, to hit Netflix in 2020.

Apparently, fans will be able to select jokes and plot points in the upcoming special.
