The media’s darling of the moment Pete Buttigieg is in some trouble. The South Bend, Indiana mayor is being accused of sexually assaulting a 21-year-old man.
The victim, Hunter Kelly, alleges in a blog post on Medium, that “Mayor Pete” assaulted him back in February.

Kelly goes on to say that at the time he had no idea who the Democratic mayor was but Buttigieg apparently told him that he “was a very important politician.”
The short post, however gets very dark, very quickly. Kelly says that coming forward with his story is the toughest thing he has ever had to do.
I must confess that this is the toughest thing I have ever had to do. For two weeks now, I have been contemplating suicide. I see myself jumping from a building or a bridge. I know that years and years of counseling may lie in front of me.
Kelly doesn’t give many details, instead his post is more of an introduction. Kelly says he plans to share more about the Buttigieg’s attack in the coming weeks.
Of course, this is definitely an interesting development with apparently much more to come.
