Former Vice President Joe Biden is actually in the race. The 77-year-old Democrat finally made up his mind and announced his presidential bid Thursday morning.
Following the news that the former Delaware senator was joining the other 60 Democrats seeking their party’s presidential nomination, President Trump responded on Twitter.
Welcome to the race Sleepy Joe. I only hope you have the intelligence, long in doubt, to wage a successful primary campaign. It will be nasty – you will be dealing with people who truly have some very sick & demented ideas. But if you make it, I will see you at the Starting Gate!

During a stop Thursday, Biden was asked about Trump’s not-so-welcoming message to the race.
Question: "Mr. Vice President, do you have a message for President Trump — he welcomed you in the race, questioned if you have the intelligence to be the president of the United States?"
