Laura Ingraham and Chrissy Teigen trade jabs

On Wednesday, Time Magazine named it’s list of the 100 Most Influential People. Model, wife of John Legend, and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen made the cut, and here’s what Eric Ripert had to say about her for the profile piece.

She may be a top model, but all her life, Chrissy Teigen has liked to eat. She’s not shy about that—or anything else, really. She’s very opinionated, and I love her for it. But what I love most about Chrissy is that she’s very much herself. She may be glamorous and an icon in elegance, but she’s extremely approachable and warm. And above all, she’s a very proud mother and a tremendously supportive wife. I admire her so much.

Laura Ingraham mocked the choice on her show that night, saying Teigen “was chosen, according to the profile, because ‘all her life Chrissy Teigen has liked to eat. She’s not shy about that — or anything else, really.’ ”

Ingraham added: “Well that’s nice and innovative, I guess . . . eating.”

Teigen wasn’t amused, Tweeting a series of defensive tweets after the segment aired.

“Corny monster. There were 1 million other ways to try and take me down and this is what you choose? Fuck you.” she wrote.

She then took it a bit further, saying, “when time comes out with their 100 most influential white supremacists list, I promise I won’t question your worthiness, .”
