After Sanders, other Dems now in talks with Fox News for town halls

Love him or hate him, you’ve got to give Bernie Sanders credit for basically stepping into the lions den and holding a town hall on Fox News.

But if you’re running for President of the United States, getting out of your comfort zone and speaking to people you normally wouldn’t seems like a terrific idea. It’s a win-win for everyone. People get exposed to new, other ideas and candidates are forced to provide a rationale for their positions.

Well, now it appears that other Democratic presidential candidates want to appear on Fox News.  While the group may include lightweights and those who absolutely no chance of sitting in the Oval Office like Eric Swalwell and Tim Ryan, Pete Buttigieg is also in discussions with the right-leaning network.

Buttigieg, the South Bend, Indiana mayor, has been surging in the polls as of late. After officially announcing his presidential candidacy Sunday, Mayor Pete is the media darling of the moment.
