Sen. Cory Booker holds presidential campaign kickoff in hometown, attendance is awful

New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker is running for president but going by attendance at his latest event, no one really cares.

On Saturday, Booker was scheduled to hold a kickoff event for his presidential campaign in Newark, New Jersey, where he was formerly the mayor.

Rebecca Buck, a CNN reporter covering the Booker campaign, was in attendance and documented the terrible attendance.

Booker, who originally announced his intention to run in February, has been traveling to Iowa and New Hampshire trying to raise anemic poll numbers. However, it doesn’t seem to have accomplished much.
