‘Black-ish’ star happy legal system worked in Jussie Smollett’s favor

This is one story that will just not stop getting crazier by the minute.

Fresh off his charges being dropped in the fake hate crime case, Jussie Smollett who is nominated for a NAACP award, may or may not attend the ceremony on Saturday. But Anthony Anderson, star of the ABC show “Black-ish” hopes he attends AND wins.

Why?

Because people of color never get a fair treatment by the legal system.

Anderson told Variety, “I hope to see him here,” and “I hope he wins. I’m happy for him that the system worked for him in his favor because the system isn’t always fair, especially for people of color.”

“So I’m glad it worked out for him,” Anderson said. “It’s not my place or any other person’s place to judge him or what not, but I’m glad the he’s nominated…I hope he wins because I’d be interested to hear his speech.”

IT WAS A FAKE CRIME.

The system should not be fair to him!! If anything, Smollett getting away with this is the EPITOME of Hollywood privilege.
