The entire case was dismissed during a Tuesday morning hearing in the Windy City. Apparently, the dismissal of the case means that everything related to the case will remained sealed.

Smollett had been accused of fabricating a hate crime in late January. Police in Chicago had said Smollet had hired two brothers to “attack” him. The actor then told police he was attacked by two Trump supporters because he is black and gay.
