Sen. Hirono on MSNBC shows Dems are scrambling to change narrative, move goalposts

Democrats in Congress are in a world of hurt. They have placed all of their eggs in the Russian collusion basket. Well, turns out that what the Democrats had hoped and waited for in eager anticipation – the Mueller report – didn’t turn out the way the wanted.

Mueller did not indict President Trump and Attorney General Barr’s report on the findings said that there was no collusion with Russia.

The Democrats, who have really done nothing for the last two years expect talk about collusion, are in a free fall, scrambling for something to rest their hopes on as they move the goalposts.

Hawaii Sen. Mazie Hirono appeared on MSNBC Monday to talk about the report and said that just because the Mueller report “didn’t bring an criminal charge of conspiracy doesn’t mean there isn’t a cozy relationship with Putin.”

She then goes on to say that the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation will continue….until they get the result they want.
