Lawyer Michael Avenatti is now facing decades behind bars.
On Monday, Michael Avenatti was arrested and charged in New York City for attempting to extort Nike for $25 million.
Apparently, the former creepy porn lawyer, who did represent porn star Stormy Daniels, threatened the company that unless the company paid him the exorbitant amount he was going to release information intended to damage Nike.
He was taken into custody right after posting this message to social media, seeming to indicate his plan to release the damaging info.
Tmrw at 11 am ET, we will be holding a press conference to disclose a major high school/college basketball scandal perpetrated by @Nike that we have uncovered. This criminal conduct reaches the highest levels of Nike and involves some of the biggest names in college basketball.

That’s just the beginning of Avenatti’s problem’s on the west coast. He’s also been federally charged for embezzling a client’s money in order to pay his own personal debts as well as using fake tax return to secure bank loans.
If found guilty on all charges, Avenatti could get nearly 50 years in prison.
