Kamala Harris calls for ‘national moratorium on the death penalty’

Liberals once again have truly proven they are a total and complete mystery of the highest order.

This week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom put a stop to the death penalty in his state.  The governor of the Golden state halted all executions with an executive order.

Newsom said that due to the systemic racial inequalities in the justice system, he could not in ” in good conscious sign death warrant for someone.”

Well, Gov. Newsom the more than 700 inmates on California’s death row thank you greatly.

Not one to come up with original ideas, and seeing how much attention Newsom was getting for his executive order, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris joined in on the whole doing away with the whole death penalty idea.

On Twitter, the presidential candidate called for “a national moratorium on the death penalty.”

When asked if no one would be executed during a Harris administration, the California Democrat, who as the state’s attorney general defended the death penalty, promptly said that would be correct.

However, let’s remember, that while Harris is now against the death penalty for convicted criminals, she is for unfettered abortion. The Democrat even voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
