After many months of speculation, Robert Francis O’Rourke is running for president.
Before getting into the race for the Oval Office and even before being a failed senatorial candidate, Beto was a member of the House of Representatives. O’Rourke represented Texas’s 16th district from 2013-2019.
On Thursday, the same day O’Rourke announced that he was seeking the highest office in the land, the Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi was asked to name accomplishments from Congressman O’Rourke.
Well, she had a little bit of trouble doing so. Instead of point to any piece of legislation, she stutters about him being a member of committees and getting support from specific voters.
