Sunday night Hollywood honored the best in film from 2018.
“Green Book” took home Best Picture, Rami Malek came away with the Best Actor award for his performance in “Bohemian Rhapsody” and Olivia Colman was named Best Actress for “The Favourite.”
However, before those wards were handed out, as could’ve been predicted, politics took center stage a couple of times. One of those instances came during the presentation of the Oscar for the Best Foreign Language Film.
Actor Javier Bardem, speaking in Spanish, bashed walls and borders, saying that creativity can ingenuity cannot be stopped even by walls.
“There are no borders or walls that can restrain ingenuity and talent.”
