Will Ferrell’s ‘Holmes & Watson’ cleans up at Razzie Awards

While actors, actresses and many of the Hollywood types enjoy attention, this is likely not the kind they wanted.

Will Ferrell’s box office flop “Holmes & Watson” cleaned up at the 2019 Razzie Awards. The Razzies, held the day before the Academy Awards, “honors” the worst in film from the prior year.

The Ferrell and John C. Reilly comedy took home the worst picture, worst remake, sequel or ripoff, worst director and worst supporting actor for John C. Reilly.

The film was universally panned with many reports of people walking out within the first minutes of the film. The film only managed to score an abysmal 10 percent on RottenTomates.com .

Members of the Trump administration also took home some “awards.” President Donald Trump was named worst actor for “Death of a Nation” and “Fahrenheit 11/9.” Kellyanne Conway was also named worst supporting actress, also for “Farenheit 11/9.”
