R. Kelly has been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse

Grammy award winning R&B singer R. Kelly, who is famous for the hits “I Believe I Can Fly” and “Ignition”, has been charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. The new charges come after a video was discovered that shows the singer having sex with an underage fourteen-year-old girl.

The tape was discovered by none other than Michael Avenatti.

Kelly will have a court date on March 8 and Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx will hold a press release later today to discuss the charges.

This is not Kelly’s first time with sexual misconduct charges. The singer has been accused multiple times but was acquitted following his last trial.

Kelly has not released a statement addressing the charges.
