Kamala Harris is a Democrat running for President of the United States and like a lot of people in the media, she rushed to judgment in the Jussie Smollett case without hearing any of the facts.
In the immediate aftermath of the report that the “Empire” actor was the victim of a “hate crime” perpetrated by two Trump supporters the California Democrat posted the following message to Twitter:
.@JussieSmollett is one of the kindest, most gentle human beings I know. I’m praying for his quick recovery.
This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.

Well, now we’ve learned that Smollett orchestrated the entire thing, paying two friends to “assault” him as he then filed a fake police report. After this news Harris was asked about the assault and she, well…she didn’t look real great.

Now after that embarrassing moment, Harris has posted a message to Twitter addressing the Smollett situation.
Like most of you, I've seen the reports about Jussie Smollett, and I'm sad, frustrated, and disappointed. pic.twitter.com/91OHOymShi
