The mayor of South Bend, Indiana, Pete Buttigieg, is one of the dozens of Democrats considering a run for president. Buttigieg has launched a presidential exploratory committee.
On Thursday, Buttigieg appeared on “The Late Show” with Stephen Colbert and Vice President Pence came up during the discussion. Buttigieg touched on the former governor of Indiana and gay marriage, religion and science.

Buttigieg called Pence a “nice guy to your face” and then went on to refer to him as “fanatical.”
