Just before 9 p.m., it was announced that a deal had been reached to avoid another government shutdown.

Democrats and Republicans have only agreed to the deal in principle and passage of the legislation is still contingent on President Trump’s signature.
Details of the deal were not immediately available. It’s also unknown if the deal includes any extra funding for President Trump’s wall/barrier.
Currently, the government is scheduled to close at Friday at midnight if a deal to fund government is not signed into law.
