Sunday was the biggest night in the music industry with the Grammys. Awards such as song, record, artist and album of the year are handed out to musicians. However, before any awards were given away, the Grammys opened the show with a surprise appearance from former First Lady Michelle Obama.
Obama appeared on stage with Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Jada Pinkett Smith. Each talked about how important music is to them and how it affected her of their lives.
Michelle Obama at the #GRAMMYS: "Music allows us to hear one another… music shows us that all of it matters–every story within every voice, every note within every song. Is that right, ladies?"

As is to be expected, the friendly Hollywood crowd nearly lost their minds when Obama appeared on stage.
