Blackface seems to be the new #MeToo.
And The View’s Joy Behar is the latest public figure to come under fire after old Halloween photos and a segment on the show surfaced that show the TV host darkened her skin for a costume.
Joy Behar admitted during a taping of The View in 2016 to dressing as a “beautiful African women” at a Halloween party when she was 29 which involved makeup “that was a little bit darker than my skin”
The show even ran an image of the old photo pic.twitter.com/qKQqzDPxyn

Co-host at the time Raven Symone seemed shocked it was Behar in the photo, saying, “Joy, are you black?”
Behar then said that the photo was from a Halloween party and she had dressed up as a “beautiful African woman” but clarified it was her real hair.
“Did you have tanning lotion on, Joy?” Raven-Symoné asked.
Behar responded, saying her makeup “was a little bit darker than my skin.”
ABC, The View and Behar have remained silent on the clip.
Others noted that NBC’s Megyn Kelly was fired for less.
Megyn Kelly was fired from her show for asking a hypothetical question about blackface. Joy Behar actually wore blackface, and admitted it, and showed a picture of it on TV, yet she still has her job. https://t.co/dIJdoMmhmz
