Dems block Sen. Sasse infanticide ban bill

To many Democrats abortion and protecting abortion is a top priority.  It’s becoming increasingly clear that any and all attempts to put restrictions on the “procedure” will be met with the fire and fury of a thousand suns.

On Monday night, Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse brought to the floor his Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. The bill, which would’ve protected children born alive after a failed abortion, was defeated by Democrats.

Prior to the vote, Sasse stated that members would have the opportunity to stand up for newborn babies, against infanticide and for the idea that everyone truly is created equal.

Sasse was hoping to pass the measure by unanimous consent but Washington Democratic Sen. Patty Murray, who was the only Democrat to come to the floor, blocked the measure.

This is today’s Democratic Party.
