VIDEO: Virginia gov. responds to outcry over his abortion comments, has no regrets

The governor of Virginia, Ralph Northam, found himself at the center of controversy this week after making some pretty unbelievable comments on the topic of abortion.

On Wednesday morning, Northam was asked about his thoughts on a proposed bill that would allow for an abortion right up until the birth of a child. Not only did Northam agree that he supported the bill he went a step further.  The governor said that even after a child is born, the mother and the physicians should “have a discussion” should it live.

To say the governor’s comments are shocking is an understatement, to say the least. Well, now the the Democrat is doubling down on his words.

On Thursday, Northam was asked about his comments and said that he is actually the victim.  He went on to call what has been said about him disgusting and ugly and not the horrible procedure that he advocated.
