Former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz is currently considering a presidential run for president as an independent in 2020.
Following his announcement Sunday night, liberals, Democrats and even President Trump have voice their opinions on the topic.
Of course Democrats don’t want Schultz running because they believe he would peel away enough of their voters to put Trump back into office. Donald Trump decided to make his opinions known on a possible run for president because…..I’m not really sure.
Howard Schultz doesn’t have the “guts” to run for President! Watched him on @60Minutes last night and I agree with him that he is not the “smartest person.” Besides, America already has that! I only hope that Starbucks is still paying me their rent in Trump Tower!

But for his reasoning for considering a run, Schultz told the ladies on “The View” that both parties aren’t willing to compromise, the extreme ideas coming the Democrats on such topics as taxes and just the general toxicity of our current political environment.
He also answered the conclusion from Democrats that if he were to run it would guarantee another term for President Trump.
.@HowardSchultz, a lifelong Democrat, on why he would run for president as an independent: "It's clear that the country that we are living in needs change, not only change because of this president, but change because of toxicity and lack of compromise of both parties." pic.twitter.com/l4zniR7k59

Howard Schultz tells @TheView he doesn't agree with the notion that if he runs as an independent, it will guarantee a Trump win in 2020: "If [Trump] runs against a far left, progressive person … President Trump is going to get re-elected." https://t.co/mK0Ke6DwKS pic.twitter.com/AGNrXMbvzh
