Pelosi’s invitation to Trump comes after it was announced that a deal had been reached to end the partial government shutdown, opening the government for three weeks.
The State of the Union had originally be set for Jan. 29. Pelosi, during the government shutdown, actually retracted her invitation for Trump to address a joint session of Congress.
