Another person has been taken arrested in connection to the Mueller investigation.
Longtime Trump aide and confidant Roger Stone was taken into custody early Friday morning following a FBI raid on his Ft. Lauderdale, Florida home.
In total, Stone is charged with seven counts. He faces charges of obstruction, making false statements and witness statements.
Following news of the sixth arrest in the Mueller investigation, the White House began making statements in order to attempt to distance President Trump from the arrest of Roger Stone.
Press Secretary Sarah Sanders responded to reporters Friday morning, saying “the arrest has nothing to do with the president.”
