Year after year the Super Bowl is the most watched thing on television. While most people enjoy the actual game, it’s everything else surrounding the game that make it such an event.
The day after the game, everyone discusses the commercials, the halftime performers and also the person or persons who sings the national anthem prior to the game. While we don’t yet know who will play in the Super Bowl, we do already know some major parts surrounding the NFL’s game.
Maroon 5, along with Outkast’s Big Boi and Travis Scott will all perform during halftime. The game will be played in the Atlanta and the now, we know the legendary Gladys Knight will sing the national anthem.
The “Midnight Train to Georgia” singer is an Atlanta native, a member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and an excellent pick to sing the song.
