On Tuesday night, President Donald Trump, speaking from the Oval Office, called the situation on our souther border a “security and humanitarian crisis.” As he did during his campaign, Trump reiterated the need for a wall on our border with Mexico.
Additionally, Trump mentioned several people who had been murdered by illegal immigrants and the vast number of drugs coming across the southern border. He asked the Democrats to put aside partisan politics, fund the wall, border security and reopen the government.

Following President Trump’s address to the nation, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer responded. Essentially, they called Trump’s call for funding for border security a manufactured crisis and then called on Trump to end the shutdown and reopen the government.

Pelosi and Schumer looked like 2 morons. they didn’t give their reason why not to build a wall. It’s amoral not to build a wall to protect American citizens.
