Indiana once again officially has two Republican United States senators.
Vice President Mike Braun administered the oath of office to fellow Hoosier Mike Braun on Thursday. Braun, you’ll remember defeated Democrat Joe Donnelly in November.

Donnelly’s senate seat was one of the most targeted and sought after by Republicans in the country.
One thought of a as long-shot candidate, Braun defeated two sitting congressmen, Rep. Luke Messer and Rep. Todd Rokita, in the primary.
Braun then went on to defeat Democrat Donnelly be double digits in the general election.
